Song Choice Spoilers, confirmed by TMZ..

David Cook
"First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" by Roberta Flack. (Simon's choice)
"Dare You to Move" by Switchfoot.
"I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith.

Syesha Mercado
"If I Ain't Got You" By Alicia Keys. (Randy's choice)
"Hit Me Up" by Gia Farrell (from "Happy Feet").
(Producer's choice)"Fever" -- which has been covered by everyone. (Syesha's choice)

David Archuleta
"And So it Goes" by Billy Joel. (Paula's choice)"
With You" by Chris Brown. (David's choice)
"Longer" by Dan Fogelberg. (Producer's choice)

David A picked a good song for himsel, since the producers are determined to saddle him with songs from the 70's. He'll shine on that. Syesha singing Fever is interesting...it definitely should be memorable and you can win over Simon with the sex kitten routine. Idol obviously picked the Aerosmith song for David Cook, i'm not in love with it but I'm sure he does fine. If Syesha is not going to really really dance, Happy Feet is a stupid choice. So dance she must... Switchback is a nice choice, i like it better than Collective Soul for David (that song choice lacked a certain OOMPH.)

Should be good. David A might come across as slow and boring, but so could David C. Syesha won't, but she has the most possiblity for an all out mess.

I love the pic of your pooch. Looks like me while David A is singing (and he's singing now :)

Here's what baffles me about Syesha.

During ALW week - when the judges were all telling her she belonged on Broadway - Syesha said she felt more comfortable singing as a character, i.e. not as herself.

but for the last 2 weeks - she's "just being me"??

Girl needs to make up her mind who she is!

David C continues to demonstrate that he has a RANGE. Nice job!

Let the energy and showmanship of David Cook's last performance tonight be a preview of what he's going to do when he wins next week. If he puts out a CD I would buy it :)

I liked David A's second song and it was nice to see him shake his bootay a bit, as he should, that young thang! Instead he's crooning like some old timer in his 60s. Kick it up a notch, David!

I missed Syesha's first song, but in the recap, I liked it. She said she was having "FUN" again. uggghhh...sick of hearing it!

Boy, even Paula was not her usual nice-self. The judges didn't seem impressed tonight considering it's the top 3. Song choices were eh.

Unless there's some crazy conspiracy, it's the two Davids in the final. Cook wins. Apart from that smart-ass comment he threw back at Simon in week one, he's about the only one who really stood out this season.

OK, what's gonna be the winning song from the contest? Have the guys from last year been discovered yet? Does this go anywhere?
