My thoughts...
Liked
Michael Johns - Liked it, to be honest I don't think he sang all that well BUT he's a good performer, he's comfortable up there, and you know he's going to give a good performance each week.
David Archuletta - Though a victim of hyperbole (that was not close to the best performance ever on the show, ridiculous comment) he was very very good. Do we have a frontrunner?
Didn't Like
Luke Menard-He's part of a group called Chapter 6 or something that sounds intensely boring...i really don't care, put him here without even listening to him. There is something about him I don't like.
Robbie Carrico-The tough boy band member. Picks a bad song, sings it ok, looks totally out of place doing rock music, eh, just really really eh.
David Cook - Wow, what a mediocre show... Thought it was quite so-so.
In Between
Jason Castro-Very interesting song choice, Bee Gees done as a country song. As Randy would say, I'm feeling this (Dog). I can see him being a favorite. Again, it's a good performance but not particularly great singing. He's a really good performer. Very professional.
Danny Noriega - Please be better this week. He was a punk rocker when he was young. What is he singing? It's way way too old fashioned. He sings good, it's just terribly boring and quiet. It doesn't suit him. He really reminds me of a 70's idol. God, he's can do better than this i'm sure...but the girls seem to love it. Much screaming... I still think he can go far.
David Hernandez - Didn't love him as much as the judges did. Didn't really like him much at all. Note: If we found out a contestant was a stripper, she'd be torn to shreds no? Called lots of things, bad innuendo all over, right? Why do i mention that here..hmm...
Im thinking Robbie, Jason (who i didn't even think of enough of to write about) or Luke will be the next to go.

Started watching with the end of Robbie. All that grabbed me about him was that his facial features could possibly resemble Brad Pitt if he got a haircut???
David Hernandez was great overall and I agree with Simon, best vocal so far tonight. He's sticking around.
Last week's boo-hiss Danny has some nice sultry-esque vocals, and better attitude. Brat!
Stronger vocals from Jason this week and a more happening song. Very talented...all those self taught instruments! Disagree with Randy. Simon says it was "ghastly." Dude, it wasn't THAT bad. Regarding Simon's comment about him sounding drunk at the end -- Simon's hair looks more like it's drunk. :p Will somebody please give him a decent haircut! He's not a bad looking guy, but his hair always looks like it's in a bad grow-out phase or over-buzzed. I can't take it anymore! :p
Dang, some smart comments from the boys this week! Chikezie and then David Cook irritating Simon like that. He better check himself.
Paula wants to dangle my cutie patootie David from her rearview mirror...what the ?! One of the strangest comments I've ever heard. Damn, I missed my other fave and cutie patootie Michael Johns.
Eeek, what was up with Luke? Caught the recap and his voice was all falsetto and stuff!
How many are eliminated this round? I say Luke and Robbie were weak this week. Maybe Jason. Great 70's song choices. A bunch of classic faves! I hope I can catch the full show tomorrow. Haven't really watched the girls yet.

Two eliminated this week. I was confused by Chikezeh talking back. Note the difference between Danny and him. Danny was given and out by Simon and he turned if funny. Chikezeh given an out, and he popped an attitude and seemingly embarresed his mom!
I really like David A too but Randy's gotta stop with the hyperbole. He did that with Jordin last year too - and honestly, I like her but still don't think she was as good as RJ made her out to be.
Loved David Hernandez - do you know something we don't, Juan? Shady past perhaps?
David Cook better watch his attitude - that whole thing to Simon saying "I don't care what you say, it's the public voting for me" was very very UNwise IMO.
I don't dislike Jason Y. I'm feeling kinda sorry for him, because all he did was try to improve from last week, and he got cut down again. Poor guy.
I thought Chikezie came out strong and I don't think his interchange with Simon hurt him. It was pretty funny in fact.
Shoot me, but I like Luke Menard. I thought the Queen song was a nice risk. What is the name of that song BTW?
My predictions to go: Robbie (SNORE) and Jason Y.
