Yuck Yuck lots of awful choices. Kady especially. I hope she's packed. What is she thinking? I'm going to give my thoughts and thumbs up or down for top 12.
And we are off...
Asia'h - I really think she can sing better than she has. This is pretty good, maybe good enough to get to the top 12. The pole position is awful. Paula is dancing. It's nowhere near that good. Simon is basically like me, that she's picking songs that are too much for her. I like her, let's put her through. Thumbs up.
Kady - Total Eh. Randy says "interesting" song choice, read that as awful song choice. Paula says its her best performance. It might be, but that's not a plus. Simon calls her a stepford wife. Ryan spins it good, it wasn't. Thumbs down.
Amanda - Another song that doesn't require her to sing well. Listen to David Cook yesterday, he SANG. His guitar (which he played) complemented his singing. She yells along to the loud guitar she is not playing. It's actually not that bad, but I don't like that she's not really "singing", it's gimmicky (like Taylor was). Simon really really pushed for her, and she came off young, shy and likable. Hmm...wow, Kady is in trouble. Thumbs Up.
Carly - Really really nice. Hasn't had her "David Cook" moment yet. Paula said she's like a dependable dog. Ryan is being a total bitch and really annoying. Does he have a girlfriend? Does he need to protect every girl? It's obnoxious today, more than normal. Simon is right, Carly picks songs that, while she shines on them, can't be great because they aren't great songs. Thumbs Up.
Kristy - I thought that was a really good performance. The song didn't exactly lend itself to being fantastic but it was nice. I'd like to hear it again. Total Thumbs Up. Simon bashed her a bit. She is sick again Ryan points out. Does she have some terrible disease? It's been three weeks.
Ramiele - Probably can go through no matter what. Only her and Carly could really see that. The song choice is probably not that good unless she NAILS the later notes. She may have the strongest female voice of all the singers. She nailed it pretty much but it didn't have that total song build up so it didn't knock the ball out of the park. She was thinking too much Randy says. That's his thing this year. Paula says she's pretty and innocent. (Rami, don't go over her house alone please.) OMG, this is so bad from Paula. She's rambled for like 2 minutes and said some almost offensive things like 100 times. Simon didn't love it. Thumbs up though.
Note: Ryan is really creeping me out. He does say TMTH. Danny Noriega iss wearing Rami's glasses. Hmm.. So the way I'm looking either Brooke or Syesha needs to go.
Brooke - I don't like the arrangement but it was good enough. She may make it to the top 12. I THINK Thumbs Up based on Simon.
Syesha - This wasn't that good. Kind of forgettable. Randy sums up my thoughts, he says "Good". Thumbs up causs she is last. Asia'h may be in trouble, or Amanda.
Not the greatest show.
